WORDS FOR THE SOUL

I love coming across quotes when I'm not searching and they speak so much volume towards my life in that moment. When I found this quote, I laughed and thought, wow that was written just for me..... I'm going to be honest, this is what I struggle with every . single . day. Sometimes, I tend to over analyze situations and think of the worst possible outcome instead oh asking "how can I fix this" or "what can I do to make this better." It will take time, but this is something i have to work at over and over again until this mindset can be changed. This is simply perfect in so many ways, I can't get over it. Being negative only makes situations harder. God will never give me anything I can not handle, all I need to do is smile, stay positive and enjoy the journey.

Happy Friday ya'll! 

I am in love with this watercolor painting i did, mainly because of how simple and straightforward it is. No matter what I'm going through, even if I'm flying high I still need to pray and thank God for all the goodness he brings to my life. I am guilty of catching myself only praying when I am in need, so this was a great reminder for me this week.

Yay, it's finally Friday!

this week has been full of ups and downs. I'm sure you can all relate to some degree. between work, home projects, trying to keep the house cleaned, having dinner on the table every night....it can be a little hectic. plus this weather makes me want to stay under the covers all day. this verse was just what I needed to get me through the week. its positive and uplifting and lets me know that no matter what life throws at me I need not to worry and just have faith and "be still" because He has a plan for me in the crazy world. 

Psalm 46:10 

"Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world."

i'm starting something new this week and i challenge you all to join in with me! i will be posting a new watercolor painting every Friday. some with bible verses and some without. i have always been a acrylic girl, so I'm stepping out of my comfort zone (i've heard thats where you grow the most.)  if you have any tricks or tips on painting with watercolors please pass them along.... i can use all the help i can get!
